Built to be useful in every country
Islamic Calendar is a free reference for the Hijri date, prayer times, Islamic events and the qibla direction — made for Muslims everywhere, regardless of country or school of thought. It doesn't pick a side on questions where the Muslim world itself holds more than one view; instead it shows the options and explains the difference.
Hijri dates
Dates are calculated using the standard tabular (civil) Islamic calendar, the same base calculation used by most calendar software. Because the actual start of each Hijri month is confirmed by moon sighting and varies by country, a manual day-offset adjustment is available on the converter page and applies across the whole site.
Prayer times
Prayer times are calculated astronomically for your chosen location, using the calculation method you select — Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm al-Qura, Shia Ithna-Ashari, and several regional authorities are all offered, since angle conventions differ by region and tradition.

This site provides estimated dates and times based on astronomical calculation. It is a convenience reference, not a religious authority:
- The start of each Hijri month, including Ramadan and both Eids, is properly confirmed by moon sighting or official announcement in your country — always follow your local mosque, national authority, or the guidance you normally follow.
- Calculated prayer times can differ by a few minutes from your local mosque's posted times (adhan vs. iqamah); when in doubt, follow your mosque.
- Where Islamic traditions differ on a date or practice (for example Mawlid), this site notes the different observances rather than presenting one as definitive.
- This site is an independent reference tool. It is not affiliated with any government, mosque, or religious organisation.
